The company already used Hänel warehouse automation solutions, and previous positive experiences provided a natural foundation for further investment.
We planned the space utilization together with the client, and the final result was a solution that enhances the storage system with two new Hänel Lean-Lift® automated storage units.
Lean-Lift® is a vertical automated storage system where shelves move up and down to bring the required items directly to the user. The solution is based on the "goods-to-person" principle, which reduces unnecessary movement and improves workflow efficiency.
Thanks to the solution, storage capacity increased significantly without the need for additional space, and material handling became noticeably faster. With automation, products are delivered directly to the user, further streamlining daily operations.
Project planning took about two weeks and included a site visit to the client's premises. Manufacturing and delivery of the equipment were completed in 16 weeks, and the installation was finished in 10 days.
The client was very satisfied with the smooth execution of the project and the results achieved. Thanks to the new solutions, storage capacity increased rapidly and operational efficiency improved significantly, allowing operations to continue at full capacity.
Things proceeded according to plan and communication was sufficient.
